Every month, industry by industry
Turkey AI Visibility Index

How the index is built
Same questions every month
Each industry has 16 shopper questions that name no brand. The set stays the same, so months can be compared.
Two AI engines, two runs each
Each question goes to ChatGPT and Google AI Overviews twice, so a single lucky answer cannot decide the result.
Counted from the answer text
A brand counts as recommended when its name or product line appears in the answer. Every number can be checked against the answer text.
Method
Using the same rules every month is what makes months comparable. The rules are below; any change is dated on this page.
Metrics
- Visibility rate
- Answers that mention the brand divided by all answers. The ranking uses this rate.
- ChatGPT and Google AI rate
- The same rate calculated for each engine.
- Question coverage
- How many of the 16 questions recommended the brand at least once.
- Average position
- The brand's average order among brands in the answer. 1 means it was the first brand named.
- First mention
- Answers where the brand was the first brand named. It breaks ties in the ranking.
- Change
- Rank difference from the previous month. Not shown in the first edition.
Rules and limits
- Questions name no brand and stay the same every month. If the set changes, a new series starts and is not compared with the old one.
- ChatGPT is measured through the OpenAI API with web search on and a Turkey location. Personalised answers in the ChatGPT app may differ.
- Google AI Overviews comes from Turkish results on google.com.tr. Searches without an AI Overview are left out, and their number is shown on the industry page.
- A brand counts when its name or its own product line (for example Anthelios for La Roche-Posay) appears in the answer. Matching uses a hand-checked brand dictionary.
- Retailers and marketplaces (such as Watsons or Trendyol) are not part of brand rankings.
- Brands that appear in at least 2 answers are listed. The full list is in the CSV file.
- AI answers vary. The index shows the answers on the measurement date; it is not a ranking of sales, quality or trust.
- No brand can pay to enter the list or change its place. A published edition is never edited afterwards.
- The TR tag marks a brand founded in Turkey, regardless of who owns the company today. Brands whose origin cannot be verified get no tag.

Frequently asked questions
How do I add my brand to the list?
There is no application. Any brand recommended in at least two AI answers enters the list on its own.
Why does the ranking change from month to month?
ChatGPT and Google build answers from different sources every day. The index measures that change with the same questions, and the change column shows it.
Why is my brand missing or ranked low?
AI engines base answers on comparison articles, forums and brand sites on the web. A brand that rarely appears in those sources rarely appears in answers. The source sites list on each industry page shows where to start.
Will more industries be added?
Yes. Industries are added one by one; each appears on this page with its first edition.
Where is your brand on your own questions?
The index measures an industry's general questions. rankzupAI tracks your brand on your own questions across 6 AI engines every week.
