AI Referral Check
Are AI answers actually driving clicks to your site? Paste a snippet of your server access log and we'll count AI-driven visits.
Your log text is NOT stored on the server — it's processed only for this request and the result returned (privacy-friendly).
How the AI referral check works
- The lines you paste are parsed against the combined log format, and each line's Referer field is inspected. When the referer points at a known AI source — chatgpt.com, perplexity.ai, gemini.google.com, copilot.microsoft.com, claude.ai, grok.com — that line counts as a real visit.
- What gets counted is human clicks, not bot traffic: someone asked an AI a question, saw your link in the answer, and clicked through. You get totals per source plus the five most-landed pages for each. Your log text is never stored — the request ends, the text is gone.
The big limit: a share of AI-driven clicks carry no referer at all, especially from mobile apps and clients that strip the header. The number you see here is a floor — your real AI traffic is at least this much, and probably more.
How to read the result
Start with the 'lines scanned / lines matched' stat: a low match rate usually means your log is not in combined format and the result undercounts. If visits show up, the source split tells you which engines you are visible in, and the landing pages tell you which content the AI cites you for — those pages are your AI storefront, keep them current. Zero visits is data too: it could be an access problem or a visibility problem, and they need separating. AI answers change every day. Stay in the know.
If you're not showing up today, the customer goes to your competitor; if you are, you need to hold that position. Either way, the first step is the same: start measuring.
